Sweet Potatoes Quinoa Burgers with Lemon Tahini
Sweet Potato is rich in potassium and calcium and is anti-inflammatory, combine with the quinoa which is high in protein this vegan burger is the perfect as an alternative to regular beef burger.

Ingredients

375g sweet potatoes

100g of quinoa (preferably soaked in clear water for 30 min)

80g onion

1 clove of garlic

1tsp cumin

1 egg

40g buckwheat flour
Tahini sauce

2tbsp tahini

1 juice of a lemon
1- Place 700g of water in mixing bowl, place simmering basket and weigh in quinoa, add diced sweet potatoes in Varoma bowl and Varoma tray then steam all together for 20min/Varoma/speed 2
2- Set aside quinoa and sweet potatoes, discard water in the bowl rise and dry mixing bowl
3- Place onion, garlic chop 4 sec/speed 7, scrape down side of bowl
4- Add sweet potatoes, quinoa, ground cumin, egg, fresh coriander leaves and buckwheat flour in mixing bowl and blend 4 sec/reverse speed 4
5- Preheat the oven to 200°C line a baking tray with parchment paper. Divide the sticky mixture into 4 large or 6 medium size patties and place on the lined baking tray
6- Bake for 15 min then flip the burgers over. When they are firm and golden, remove from the oven.
